Helpful information when plans change:
-
The scenic railroad industry was not included in phase 4 of Governor Cuomo’s plans to reopen New York State. It is not clear at this time when we might be able to begin operating our train rides again. We are working to be prepared to begin those operations once we are given the green light.
-
The Adirondack Railroad does not offer refunds. All trips within April 1st and December 31st 2020 can be issued a non expiring gift card for the value of their trip.
To change the date of your trip, please call us at 1-800-819-2291 to rebook subject to availability. We have waived all change fees until further notice.
Coronavirus travel notices:
-

From requiring masks in our stations & gift shops, to disinfecting every nook and cranny of our train cars, we are here to make sure you and your family are safe.
-
We are currently not operating any railroad trips at the moment. Check back soon.
We plan to take each standard very seriously when implementing social distancing onboard by blocking seats and adding open air cars to our trains. -
All travelers 2 years and older must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth throughout their journey, including during check-in, boarding, and exiting, they do not have to be worn while you are in your seat.. Masks with vents or exhalation valves are not permitted. Plastic face shields may be worn in addition to a face covering but not in place of one. Customers with conditions that prevent them from wearing a face covering should rebook their trip until this temporary requirement is no longer in place.
